The Catch Returns section has been updated to include trout and salmon catches from club waters for 2009. The totals were 84 salmon & grilse and 1240 brown trout. The biggest salmon caught on club waters was 13lbs and the best brown trout was not far behind it at 11lbs!

Not showing in the Catch Returns section but of interest: there were 4 sea trout and 19 perch caught on Loch Meig, and 15 pike from all waters.

Round 3 of the winter league takes place this weekend at Achagour Fish Ponds near Nairn. A 10.00 am start on Sunday morning, 13th December.

After the last round at Loch Insch Fishery near Huntly, the new leader is Barry from Ullapool. He also leads the biggest fish stakes after taking a huge Rainbow of 11lbs plus at that venue.

Well done Barry.

This year's Dinner Dance took place on Friday 20th November at the Priory Hotel, Beauly.

A great night was had by all with a large amount of silverware presented to the prizewinners.

The raffle organised by the 100 Club was a great success and prizes spread across all members.

Well done to all the prizewinners.

Reports for the 'Away' Competitions (Federation of Highland Angling Clubs, Alex Duncan Challenge, Iain Urquhart Memorial, Wild Trout Challenge and Shin Open), the Danfoss Inter-Club Competition and the Junior Competition have been added in the Competitions Section.
